Sirocco’s Wine Tasting Vendor Evening

In the heart of the Pine Creek Valley lies the Sirocco Golf Club, a highly-rated venue for weddings and events. We headed down for the day to attend a unique event taking place for the Sirocco’s wedding couples. Angie, the Events Manager, and Whitney the Food and Beverage Manager wanted an event where couples could try their food and wine. On top of that, they decided it would be an excellent idea to invite a few vendors along. Thus, the Sirocco Wedding Wine Tasting and Vendor Showcase was born.

For the Showcase, Sirocco included wines from their function menu. They made the day interactive by inviting wine representatives to share their product with the couples. Each guest received a wine tasting card to try the different offerings. The reps were all very friendly, and happy to provide knowledge on their wines.

Cake Artist Alison LaFrance from Whippt Desserts and Catering set up a beautiful booth. She covered it with chocolate cupcakes, vanilla glazed donuts, and macarons. Shannon Collins with Chair Flair set up the gorgeous décor in the room, complementing the other vendors. Florist Rhonda Fernando with Creative Edge Flowers put together stunning bouquets and beautiful succulent displays.

A photo booth was set up by Celebs Photobooth, which is always a fun addition to any wedding. With a blend of fun and classy props, the booth at the Showcase was busy all day! The videographers at the event were Justin and Ixchel Aradi from Parfait Productions. The married couple is an award-winning duo, who are experts at capturing those special moments in a wedding day. Planner Sarah Jane Jackson was there as well, representing her wedding planning skills with her company Everything But Time.

DJ Kevin Fennell from Rock-it Productions played an excellent blend of music. He adjusted to fit the mood of the crowd throughout the day, while the couples browsed the wines and vendors.

The feedback from the event was excellent. The wedding couples all had a beautiful day and enjoyed the one-on-one time with the vendors.

We had a lovely time at the event as well, and want to thank the Sirocco for a fantastic day!
