A Wedding With a View
Their Ceremony in Sirocco Golf Club
For Jun and Errol’s wedding, we drove out to the sprawling lawns of the Sirocco Golf Club in the foothills. The location is stunning, set atop a hill overlooking the Pine Creek Valley and the Rockies in the distance.
Before the full ceremony, the couple had a private ceremony led by Linda Barrette in the indoor ceremony space. She conducted the legal service, which was attended by only their closest friends and family. In front of the stone fireplace and distant mountains through the windows, Jun and Errol said their vows and officially became husband and wife! When they had wrapped up the official ceremony, the rest of the guests were invited in for the service. Pastor Green then led a full ceremony, with devotionals, a kiss, and a mock signing of the documents.
The Creative Formals Outdoors at Sirocco Golf Club
In the short intermission between the ceremony and photos, the guests congratulated the couple as we set up for the formals. We moved outside to a set of bushes by the outdoor ceremony site. Sirocco Golf Club features two stunning ceremony sites, one indoor, one outdoor. Jun and Errol chose to get married indoors because May weather is unpredictable, but we used the outdoor space for gorgeous photos.
We began with family photos and quickly moved into shots of the wedding party. Heading out onto the ridge, we were greeted with jaw-dropping views over the valley. After taking a few group shots, we separated the party; the guys went to the rocks, and the girls remained on the ridge. When it was the women’s turn at the rock feature, one of Jun’s bridesmaids, who happens to be a geologist, pulled a power pose as she stood over the broad expanse of the foothills. Laughter from the lively group accompanied the rest of the shoot.
Next, we returned with the bride and groom to the valley, where we threw a light on them and used the backdrop of the rolling fields stretching into the distance. Using the golf carts that Sirocco hooked us up with, we drove off to an open field at the backend of the property, where we finished up the creative formals.

The grand entrance of Jun and Errol began, with a soundtrack from Nigel and Ryan with PEZ Productions. They wore traditional Chinese ceremonial outfits of bright red and gold and came in looking stunning.
Because everything was running a little ahead of schedule, dinner began early. The catering team at Sirocco served an incredible array of delicious dishes, including risotto, veggie lasagna, prime rib, melt-in-your-mouth salmon, salads, and a dessert table of pies and macarons!
After dinner, we photographed the guests mingling, captured candid shots of the wedding party mid-selfie, and captured the details of the beautiful room. The rest of the night continued with speeches from the head table, and a party in the evening. It was a small, intimate, and lovely wedding, and we are happy to have been a part of it.
We hope Jun and Errol love their images as much as we loved capturing them!
