A Hike Along Peyto Lake For Some Spectacular Mountain Engagement Photos

A Chance Interview Encounter

The manufacturing company that Zach works for was hiring and randomly he was selected to conduct one of the interviews. The hiring manager was late, so when Amy walked in, there was an immediate connection. The interview took on a first date feeling as they found themselves lost in a personal conversation leaving Amy hoping she had got the job just so she could talk to Zach again. Fast forward a few months to May of this year and they made it official and started dating.

With such a strong bond already between the two of them, it was only a couple short weeks before they had decided to get married and started planning their mountain elopement in the Canadian Rockies.

Their Engagement Session Overlooking Peyto Lake

The Canadian Rockies was a bucket list item for both Zach and Amy so it seemed fitting to do their Engagement photos while they were here too. They were considering several different mountain locations but the Peyto Lake hike definitely offered one of the more spectacular views. Upon arriving, we soaked ourselves in mosquito repellant and then went off hiking. The hike was considerably shorter than we had expected arriving atop the lookout in no time at all. This afforded us some time to explore and once we had discovered the rock garden below the lookout we were left with a sense that everyone else was missing out.
